The fully-funded Taiwan government scholarship offers successful candidates the following benefit.
- Airfare: a free ticket to and from Taiwan during the scholarship period.

- Tuition fee: full tuition fee is covered by Taiwan ICDF as requested by the student’s universities

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR TAIWAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP 2022
- Applicant must be an international candidate and a citizen of the listed countries eligible ( including select African countries for Taiwan ICDF scholarship.
- Applicant should not be a national of the Republic of China( Taiwan) nor an overseas compatriot student
- Applicants should meet up the admission requirement of the university to which he or she studies under the Taiwan ICDF scholarship.
- Applicant should be able to satisfy the requirements for a Resident visa set by the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) set by the Ministry of the Interior of the ROC (Taiwan government) Minister of Foreign Affairs.
- Applicant should not have a history of scholarship revoked by any ROC (Taiwan) government agency or related institutions
- Applicants should fill out the application form correctly.
HOW TO APPLY FOR A TAIWAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP 2022
There is an online form to be completed by the applicant, the form should be signed and submit the printed copy along with all other required documents to the ROC ( Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate (General) / Representative Office/ Taiwan Technical Mission or Project Representative in their country.
Failure to do so will result in the application not being processed. Note that applicants can only apply for one program at a time.

- Applicant general information, eg, age, sex, nationality, etc.
- A copy of the applicant’s highest level certificate and academic transcripts
- English language proficiency certificate, however, an applicant who is unable to present an English language proficiency certificate due to special circumstances may be assessed for English proficiency by the ROC (Taiwan) embassy/ consulate general/ representative office through interview or another form of testing. An applicant whose official language is English is exempt from providing these documents.
