Chevening Scholarship application to study in the UK starts on 3rd September 2020… Ends after 60 days!

Chevening scholarship is the UK Government’s global scholarship program that offers future leaders the unique opportunity to study in UK. The scholarships are granted to outstanding professionals world-wide to pursue a one-year master’s degree or fellowship in any subject offered by any UK university. Not only masters study, but Chevening also offers scholars the opportunity to pursue a fellowship in the United Kindom.

This gives scholarship winners freedom to focus on achieving their academic goals, aspirations and enjoying the experience of a lifetime while in the United Kingdom. They will have to live and study in UK for a year, during which time they will develop professionally and academically, grow their network, experience UK culture, and build lasting positive relationships with UK residents.

Chevening Scholarship Application Announcement 

Recently, the Chevening Secretariat announced that the applications for Chevening Scholarships to study in the UK for the 2021/2022 session is open. The application opened on 3rd September 2020 and will close on 3rd November 2020 at 12:00 GMT (midday). Approximately, 60 days’ interval.

Eligibility

Candidates must have outstanding performance in their undergraduates and must show leadership potentials in order to stand a better chance.

Eligible Country

Application is accepted from candidates from all around the world to study in the UK under the Chevening Scholarship program.

Required documents

• High school certificate
• Undergraduate degree certificate
• Transcript of record (undergraduate transcript)
• And other personality-related questions.

English proficiency

The English language requirement for the Chevening scholarship has been removed for all applicants from 2020/2021 onwards. However, candidates must meet all requirements from their chosen university and must have secured an unconditional offer from one of their three course choice before the Chevening application deadline.

• Admission can be obtained from Uk universities within two to six weeks after submitting your application and all required documents.
• You can apply for admission at several universities at the same time. This will broaden your chances of getting at least one admission before the Chevening application deadline

Application Deadline:

Application window for the 2021/2022 session is open for only two (2) months starting from 3rd September to 3rd November 2020.  Please endeavor to complete and submit your application within this time.

It is advisable to submit your application at least a day before the application deadline, in order to be on a safer side.
