DAAD Scholarship 2021/2022 – Special Offer for Candidates from Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal, and Tunisia to Study in Germany: This DAAD program is designed to equip graduates of universities in specific fields with both academic acumen and hands-on know-how with which to develop their respective countries in particular industries. Permanent Residence In Canada Blueprint DAAD is providing special offers for candidates from Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal, and Tunisia, to Study in Germany.
Candidates who have Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with at least two years of work experience in the relevant fields will earn absolute sponsorship to embark on Master’s program at German institutions of higher education.
The fields of study or industry are as follows:
-Textile
-Automotive and Mobility
-Development of business parks and industrial zones
-Agro business and job creation
-Information and Communication Technology, Digital Economy, and New Technologies, which includes Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.
When the successful candidates must have completed their Master’s program, they will be conducted through a six months period of practical training. This is to equip them as leaders with the needed academic expertise, thereby empowering them to in turn bring about employment and development in the said industries back in their home countries. SCHOLARSHIP SUMMARY

-Complete tuition, plus (€861 monthly allowance)
-Health insurance
-Travel allowance
-Research subsidy
-Rent subsidy, where applicable
-Family allowance (for spouse and children), where applicable
-German language course for two or six months
-Possible scholarship for a six-month practical training upon graduation

ELIGIBILITY
-You must hold a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent not more than six years prior to the time of the application deadline.
-You must have at least two years of work experience in the relevant field.
-Proficiency in English and/ or German languages, depending on the Language of instruction at your intended German university.
(Note: special German language course will be given to successful candidates before resumption of their Master’s program proper.)
-You are not eligible if you’ve lived in Germany for up to 15 months at the time of the application.
-Only candidates from the above-listed countries are invited.
-You must be willing to return to your home country upon completion of the whole program to bring about the needed socio-economic development.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
-University certificate
-Transcript of results.
-One letter of motivation regarding two courses of your choice, with reference to your current employment (two pages maximum)
-One letter of recommendation from your current employer, written on an official letterhead and stamp
-Certificate of language proficiency, either IELTS or TOEFL
-Further specific requirements stated by the university offering your choice courses. See end of post for their directory.

HOW TO APPLY
1. Ensure that your application/submissions are in English or German.
2. Obtain one (only one) DAAD Application Form for Research Grants and Study Scholarships. Click here to download it.
3. State precisely in the pdf form the two courses of your choice you want to pursue in the Master’s program, and state which of the two is your priority. (See end of post for available courses and respective deadlines.)
4. Indicate in the form, first of all, that you’re applying for “Programme Special Initiative on Training and Job Creation”.
5. Email the completed form, together with all the required documents mentioned above, to each university department of your choice courses. (See end of post for available courses with their respective emails.)
NOTE:
- The application form can only be edited electronically.
- Do not send your application to DAAD.
- Ensure you have a copy of all your documents as you will be required to upload them onto DAAD portal if you get shortlisted for the scholarship.
- Check your email regularly as you will be informed thereby at the end of the selection process whether or not your application was successful.
- Ensure you submit a duly completed application, as incomplete application is tantamount to formal rejection.
- On Covid-19 crisis: Due to the travel restrictions, new and suitable arrangements will be made concerning lectures and/or semester resumption. All candidates will be duly informed about this.
